About this role

  • ๐ŸŸ Cut, trim, and portion salmon and other fish products to company specifications.

  • ๐Ÿ”ช Operate knives, hand tools, and processing equipment safely and efficiently.

  • โœ… Inspect raw fish for quality, freshness, and defects before and during processing.

  • ๐Ÿงผ Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, tools, and equipment throughout the shift.

  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Prepare product for packing, labeling, and transfer to the next stage of production.

  • ๐Ÿšฆ Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.

  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Record production counts, yields, and waste as required by supervisors.

  • ๐Ÿค Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and schedules.

Requirements

  • ๐ŸŽ“ Completion of secondary school is preferred.

  • โณ Previous experience in fish processing, food processing, or meat cutting is required.

  • ๐Ÿ’ช Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks in a cold environment.

  • ๐Ÿ‘€ Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

  • ๐Ÿงผ Willingness to follow strict sanitation and food handling procedures.

  • ๐Ÿค Good teamwork and communication skills.

  • ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Comfortable using hand tools and basic processing equipment safely.

Terms of employment

Full-time permanent employment with a standard probationary period. Shift work may be required based on production schedules.

Benefits

Competitive hourly wage, overtime pay where applicable, and Extended Medical/dental benefits after the probation period. There is the possibility for bonuses based on performance.
