🚜 Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely to move raw materials, packaging, and finished seafood products within the facility.
📦 Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring products are handled carefully and placed in the correct storage areas.
✅ Check product counts, labels, and lot information during receiving and staging to help maintain accurate inventory records.
🧊 Transport palletized goods to refrigerated storage and production areas while following food safety and temperature-control procedures.
📋 Complete daily equipment checks, logbook entries, and basic shipment documentation as required.
🚦 Follow all workplace health, safety, and sanitation rules, including traffic flow, aisle clearances, and pedestrian awareness.
🔧 Report equipment issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly and assist with routine housekeeping in the warehouse and dock areas.
🤝 Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and production staff to support smooth workflow and timely order movement.
🎓 Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is preferred.
⏳ Previous forklift or warehouse experience in a production, cold storage, or logistics environment is required.
🚜 Ability to operate a counterbalance forklift safely and follow operating procedures and load limits.
💪 Comfortable working in a busy warehouse setting and performing repetitive lifting, bending, and standing tasks.
👀 Strong attention to detail when handling inventory, labels, and shipping paperwork.
🤝 Good communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with production and shipping staff.
🚦 Willingness to follow company safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures at all times.
