About this role
๐ Supervise daily food service operations at A&W and help keep service fun, friendly, and efficient for guests and team members.
๐ฅ Schedule, train, and support food service staff, and step in to perform the same duties as the team when required.
โ Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistent A&W standards are followed at all times.
๐ฆ Promote a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment by following food safety, sanitation, and workplace health procedures.
๐ฆ Oversee inventory, stock rotation, and supply ordering to reduce waste and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
๐ฌ Resolve guest concerns professionally and support a positive customer experience during busy service periods.
๐ค Required to do the same duties as those supervised when necessary.๐ Prepare and review shift reports, sales summaries, and staff performance notes as needed.
๐ง Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and routine equipment checks, and complete other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
โณ 1โ2 years of restaurant experience or 1 year of supervisor experience is required.
๐ High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
๐ค Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are required.
๐ Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
๐ช Ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical restaurant supplies is required.
๐งผ Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices is an asset.
๐ ๏ธ Willingness to perform the same duties as the staff when needed is required.
