About this role
๐ฝ๏ธ Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and front-line food service staff.
๐ Schedule shifts, assign duties, and help keep service running smoothly during busy meal periods.
โ Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation to make sure every order meets house standards.
๐ฆ Support safe food handling, cleanliness, and workplace safety practices throughout the shift.
๐งพ Assist with inventory checks, supply ordering, and receiving to prevent shortages and waste.
๐ค Train new team members and provide on-the-job coaching in a positive, team-first environment.
๐ Handle routine customer concerns and work with staff to resolve service issues quickly and professionally.
๐ Maintain records for schedules, stock, waste, and daily operations as required by management.
๐พ Contribute to a welcoming guest experience that highlights the energy and hospitality of Estevan.

Requirements
๐ Secondary school graduation is preferred, with post-secondary food service or hospitality training considered an asset.
โณ 2-3 years of experience in food service or 1 year of supervisory experience.
๐ณ Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and customer service best practices.
๐ค Proven ability to lead a team, stay organized, and keep a calm, positive attitude under pressure.
๐ช Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
๐ ๏ธ Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, basic inventory tools, and routine scheduling procedures.
๐ Detail-oriented with solid judgement, reliability, and a strong sense of accountability.
๐ Must be available for evenings, weekends, and busy seasonal periods as needed.
