About this role
🛎️ Greet guests upon arrival, process check-ins and check-outs, and provide friendly front desk service.
📞 Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist guests with reservations, changes, and general resort information.
🗂️ Maintain accurate guest records, daily logs, and reservation details using front desk systems.
💳 Process payments, issue receipts, and balance cash, credit card, and settlement transactions at the end of shift.
🤝 Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to support smooth guest service and room readiness.
🎓 Understanding of fishing licencing for boat rentals will be required.
📨 Handle messages, mail, packages, wake-up calls, and guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
🔍 Resolve minor guest concerns, escalate issues when needed, and help ensure a positive resort experience.
🧹 Assist with light clerical tasks, lobby tidiness, and other front office duties as assigned.
🚐 Support seasonal resort operations by adapting to remote-location procedures and guest service needs during the March to November operating period.
Requirements
⏳ Several months of experience in front desk, reception, or customer service roles is required
💬 Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
👀 Excellent attention to detail for reservations, payments, and guest record accuracy.
🤝 Professional, courteous, and guest-focused approach in a busy resort environment.
💻 Comfortable using computers, reservation software, phones, and standard office equipment.
🚗 Willingness to relocate to Sioux Narrows, Northwestern Ontario, for the March to November seasonal work period is required.
💪 Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays, and perform light physical tasks as needed.

Terms of employment
Seasonal full-time employment from March to November each year, with relocation to Sioux Narrows, Ontario required for the operating season. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Benefits
On-site seasonal resort employment, accommodation available for 170 bi-weekly and 3 meals per day included. Gratuities based on performance.
