About this role
๐๏ธ Greet guests upon arrival, process check-ins and check-outs, and provide friendly front desk service.
๐ Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist guests with reservations, changes, and general resort information.
๐๏ธ Maintain accurate guest records, daily logs, and reservation details using front desk systems.
๐ณ Process payments, issue receipts, and balance cash, credit card, and settlement transactions at the end of shift.
๐ค Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to support smooth guest service and room readiness.
๐ Understanding of fishing licencing for boat rentals will be required.๐จ Handle messages, mail, packages, wake-up calls, and guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
๐ Resolve minor guest concerns, escalate issues when needed, and help ensure a positive resort experience.
๐งน Assist with light clerical tasks, lobby tidiness, and other front office duties as assigned.
๐ Support seasonal resort operations by adapting to remote-location procedures and guest service needs during the April to November operating period.
Requirements
โณ Several months of experience in front desk, reception, or customer service roles is required
๐ฌ Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
๐ Excellent attention to detail for reservations, payments, and guest record accuracy.
๐ค Professional, courteous, and guest-focused approach in a busy resort environment.
๐ป Comfortable using computers, reservation software, phones, and standard office equipment.
๐ Willingness to relocate to Sioux Narrows, Northwestern Ontario, for the April to November seasonal work period is required.
๐ช Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays, and perform light physical tasks as needed.
