Guest Services Representative

About this role

  • ๐Ÿค Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in, check-out, and general resort inquiries.

  • ๐Ÿ“ž Answer incoming calls, respond to messages, and direct guest requests to the appropriate department.

  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and daily front desk documentation.

  • ๐Ÿงญ Provide information about resort amenities, local activities, and seasonal services in Northwestern Ontario.

  • ๐Ÿงน Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to support timely guest service.

  • ๐Ÿšจ Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when needed to ensure a positive experience.

  • ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Assist with scheduling, room status updates, and daily operational tasks during the resort season.
    ๐Ÿค Other duties that are required to help out as necessary.

Requirements

  • ๐ŸŽ“ Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is an asset.

  • โณ Previous experience in guest services, reception, hospitality, or customer service is required.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Strong English communication skills, with a polite and professional phone manner.

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Comfortable using reservation systems, email, and basic computer applications.

  • ๐Ÿค Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with guests and team members.

  • ๐Ÿ‘€ Strong attention to detail when handling bookings, payments, and guest information.

  • ๐Ÿš— Willingness to relocate to Northwestern Ontario annually from April to November.

  • ๐Ÿ’ช Ability to work in a fast-paced resort environment and support extended service hours when required.

Terms of employment

Seasonal full-time employment from April to November each year, with annual relocation to Northwestern Ontario required. On-site work at the resort location; schedule may include weekends, evenings, and holidays during peak guest periods.

Benefits

Competitive seasonal wage, accommodation available for 170 bi-weekly and 3 meals per day included, and the role offers the opportunity to work in a resort setting in Northwestern Ontario during the operating season. Gratuities available if required.
