About this role
🧹 Clean and sanitize guest rooms, cottages, and common areas to Totem Resorts standards.
🛏️ Make beds, change linens, and restock towels and guest amenities as required.
🧺 Collect, sort, and deliver laundry and housekeeping supplies throughout the property.
🪣 Replenish cleaning carts and maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas in orderly condition.
🔍 Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and missing or damaged items.
🚧 Report safety hazards, repairs, and unusual guest room conditions to the supervisor promptly.
🤝 Support the housekeeping team with turn-down service, special requests, and guest needs.
🌲 Maintain a professional, friendly presence while working in a resort environment in Northwestern Ontario.
🤝 Other duties as required to assist other staff when required.
Requirements
🧼 Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality, resort, or similar settings is an asset.
💪 Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving linens and supplies.
👀 Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, well-presented guest accommodations.
🤝 Reliable, courteous, and able to work cooperatively with a team in a busy resort environment.
🚗 Willingness to relocate to Northwestern Ontario for this position.
⏰ Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
🛠️ Comfortable using standard housekeeping cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
🗣️ English communication skills sufficient to understand instructions and report concerns.

Terms of employment
Full-time, permanent position with relocation to Sioux Narrows, Ontario required. Probationary period applies.
