About this role
🏗️ Prepare, place, and finish concrete surfaces for commercial projects.
📏 Set, align, and check forms, edges, and grades to meet project specifications.
🧰 Operate hand tools and small power tools used in concrete finishing work.
🚦 Follow jobsite safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
🧱 Patch, repair, and smooth concrete as needed to achieve the required finish.
🤝 Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete pours on schedule.
✅ Inspect finished work for quality, level, texture, and proper curing conditions.
📋 Assist with general site cleanup, material handling, and related labour duties.
Requirements
🤝 Seasonal work annually from April to November.
🎓 Completion of secondary school is an asset.⏳ 3 years experience in concrete finishing is required.
💪 Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
🛠️ Comfortable using trowels, screeds, floats, and other finishing tools.
👀 Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, consistent finishes.
🤝 Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a crew.
🚗 Reliable transportation to and from job sites may be required.

Terms of employment
Full-time permanent employment. Regular daytime hours with occasional overtime based on project schedules. Wage review may be discussed after probation.
