About this role
Prepare and irrigate soil
Operate tractors, air seeders, combines, grain carts, augers and other agricultural machinery used in grain production.
Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops
Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport.
Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance requirements.
Maintain clean and organized work areas while following workplace safety procedures.
May perform other grain farming and general farm labour duties.
Requirements
• No English is required
• Working long hours during seeding, spraying and harvesting
• Punctual
• Good attitude
• Experience is an asset but not required as we will train
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
• Previous driving experience is an asset
• Team player
• Can work independently
