    The Opportunity

    We are looking for an Insurance Administrator who enjoys providing exceptional service, managing

    important details, and supporting clients and advisors throughout the insurance process.

  • In this role, you’ll be an important part of our Estate & Insurance Planning division, supporting

    everything from insurance applications and underwriting to policy delivery and ongoing in-force

    service. You’ll work closely with our Financial Advisors, insurance carriers, clients, and internal

    teams to help ensure every request is handled accurately, efficiently, and with care.

  • As our Insurance Administrator, you won’t simply process paperwork behind the scenes. You’ll help

    keep cases moving, anticipate what advisors and clients need next, solve problems, and provide

    clarity throughout the insurance lifecycle. At times, you’ll also help support clients and their

    families through sensitive situations, including claims and the loss of a loved one, making empathy,

    discretion, and professionalism especially important to this role.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    Support Exceptional Client Service

    • Deliver timely, accurate, and professional service to clients, ensuring insurance inquiries and

    requirements are handled efficiently and with care

    • Manage and process in-force insurance service inquiries and requests

    • Respond to client questions and help ensure they receive clear information and appropriate

    support

    • Provide compassionate and professional service during sensitive situations, including

    insurance claims and death claims

    • Build trusted relationships through reliability, discretion, follow-through, and a client-first

    approach

  • Provide Insurance Administration and Case Management

    • Process insurance applications, including data entry, follow-up on outstanding requirements,

    and policy delivery

    • Complete and process insurance and segregated funds applications accurately and efficiently

    • Maintain accurate and complete client and policy information within our CRM system

    • Track outstanding requirements and help keep applications and service requests moving

    forward

    • Support insurance cases throughout the sales, underwriting, policy delivery, and ongoing

    service lifecycle

    • Ensure documentation and processes meet internal standards and regulatory requirements

  • Support Our Financial Advisors

    • Provide proactive administrative support to Financial Advisors throughout the insurance

    process

    • Assist with insurance quotes and respond to questions during the sales and underwriting

    process

    • Keep advisors informed of case developments, outstanding requirements, next steps, and

    important updates

    • Anticipate administrative needs and take initiative to help cases progress efficiently

    • Help advisors deliver a seamless, professional experience to their clients

  • Work With Insurance Carriers and Our Team

    • Communicate with insurance carriers regarding applications, underwriting, policy service, and

    other insurance matters

    • Act as a dependable point of coordination between advisors, carriers, clients, and internal

    support teams

    • Follow up on outstanding items and help resolve service issues or workflow challenges

    • Work closely with colleagues across our insurance, financial planning, group benefits, and

    group retirement divisions

    • Share knowledge and support teammates in delivering an integrated client experience

  • Your Experience and Our Expertise

    • 3+ years of direct experience in insurance administration or a related role

    • Post-secondary education or recognized Business College Diploma

    • LLQP (an asset but not required)

    • Strong knowledge of insurance administration, applications, underwriting, policy service, and

    related processes

    • Experience working with insurance carriers, advisors, and clients

    • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

    • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities

    • High level of accuracy, discretion, and professionalism
