About this role
🔧 Assemble truss components accurately using approved drawings, measurements, and production specifications.
📏 Measure, cut, and position lumber and hardware to meet quality and structural standards.
✅ Inspect completed trusses for alignment, fit, and workmanship before they move to the next stage.
🚦 Follow all shop safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment at all times.
🤝 Work closely with supervisors and team members to keep production on schedule.
📦 Move, stack, and organize materials and finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
🛠️ Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic production equipment as required.
📋 Maintain a clean, organized work area and report any equipment or material issues promptly.
🤝 Other duties as required to assist to completion.
Requirements
🎓 Completion of secondary school or equivalent is preferred.
⏳ Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or wood products assembly is an asset.
💪 Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
👀 Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
🛠️ Comfortable working with hand tools and basic shop equipment in a production setting.
🤝 Good communication skills and a reliable team-oriented attitude.
🚦 Willingness to follow workplace safety rules and seasonal production schedules.

Seasonal position from April 1st to December 20th annually; full-time hours during the operating season with a return each spring subject to business needs.
